You know how some people still doubt Iniesta's loyalty to Barca? Well, this might comfort them some.
Don Andres has, with the help of his father, remodelled his house in Fuentealbilla, Spain. He converted it into a mini Barca museum with a collection of personal keepsakes accumulated during his 13 years (in September)as a Barcelona player.
The project is said to have taken one and half years to complete but the finished product could be viewed as a testimony of Andres' loyalty and affection for the team.
His house is located at No. 1 Andres Iniesta Street (no kidding, he has his own street). The Barca shield can be seen at the main facade of the house, next to the number 8 (click on the image for a better view). The mouldings of the house have been painted with the azulgrana colors, blue and red.
The inside of house itself was kept simple as Andres didnt want anything "ostentatious". Among the few luxuries is a swimming pool, on the bottom of which is a large crest of Barca (sorry, no picture). The lobby has a large picture of a young Iniesta receiving the Nike Cup trophy from his idol, Pep Guardiola.
The living room is filled with pictures of the Championship League Finals in Paris, a reminder that Iniesta, who did not feature in the game, had his very own chance to win the title in Rome. The Barca crest and a picture of Iniesta's jersey hang on the lighted walls in the staircase leading to the upper floors.
Very nice. One thing for sure, a closet Madridista would never live here. Also, this kind of shows he indeed plans to retire with the club.
(I dont suppose they have a room under the stairs I could occupy ala Harry Potter haha)
